Woman of Sorrows Transformed (by Sandra Gilfoyle Meyer, Copyright © 2004)

Yes, I have seen you.........
Crying when you thought that no one heard,

Wondering if your dreams were to be dead and buried,

Filled with grief too great for tears at times.

Silent Cry

Listen

Lord, please hear my cry, as silently I cry out to You
Lord, please feel my tears, as invisibly they form like morning dew
Lord, please rescue me or I will surely die
For I've fallen deep into a pit, and here lifelessly I lie

Lord, stay with me now, so I won't feel so scared and all alone
Lord, please heal me now and help me find my way back home
Lord, look deep within and hear all I cannot say
Have mercy as You look upon me, Lord please don't turn away

Lord, look deep within and hear all I cannot say
Have mercy as You look upon me, Lord please don't turn away

I've had some very difficult circumstances over the years...one night as I was walking my dogs and praying, I asked God for help to not be so frightened by the circumstances. As I went to bed that night, I reached for my Bible as I always do before I go to sleep. I have a few different translations, and that night I happened to pick up New Living Translation and randomly opened the Bible to immediately read the following passage:

The LORD has said to me in the strongest terms: Do not think like everyone else does. Do not be afraid that some plan conceived behind closed doors will be the end of you. Do not fear anything except the LORD Almighty. He alone is the Holy One. If you fear Him, you need fear nothing else. He will keep you safe. Isaiah 8:11-14 NLT

It was a direct, spoken, living Word from the Living God...and one I've continued to stand on again and again. THIS is how you renew your mind, by continually applying God's living Word to wherever your mind is, whatever you are struggling with...Tammy Pinkston, 2005

God is faithful, and even when we cannot hear or feel Him, we still have the assurance that He is with us. Hebrews 13:5b:

For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never forsake you." NLT

For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
NKJV

For He [God] Himself has said, "I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake you nor let you down (relax My hold on you)! Assuredly not!" Amplified

He can be trusted, even when we feel completely alone...even when our only prayer is "help".
