"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me because the Lord has appointed, anointed and qualified me to bring good news to the poor and afflicted. He has sent me to comfort, bind up, and heal the brokenhearted, and to announce that (physical, emotional and spiritual) captives will be released, and to announce the opening of the prison and of the eyes of those who are bound. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord's favor has come, and with it, the day of God's anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Zion (the body of Christ), he will give beauty instead of ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair (a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit). For the Lord has planted them like strong and graceful oaks (lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God) for his own glory (that He may be glorified)."
